Raydium
A leading Solana AMM and DEX that combines on-chain liquidity with OpenBook's central limit order book for deeper markets and tighter spreads.
Raydium — Raydium is a leading automated market maker (AMM) and decentralized exchange on Solana that combines on-chain liquidity pools with OpenBook's central limit order book. This hybrid model provides deeper liquidity and tighter spreads than pure AMM designs.
What Is Raydium?
Raydium launched in 2021 as one of the first AMMs on Solana. Its unique architecture shares liquidity between its own pools and OpenBook (formerly Serum), giving traders access to both AMM and order book liquidity in a single swap. This hybrid approach provides better prices for large trades compared to standalone AMMs.
Raydium supports standard AMM pools, concentrated liquidity (CLMM) pools, and AcceleRaytor launchpad pools. It processes billions of dollars in monthly trading volume and remains one of the most-used DeFi protocols on Solana.
Raydium and Volume Generation
Raydium pools are a primary target for volume generation campaigns on Solana. When a token's Raydium pool shows high volume, it appears on DexScreener and Birdeye trending lists, driving organic discovery. OpenLiquid's volume bot supports Raydium pools for both standard AMM and CLMM pool types.
Before PumpSwap launched, Pump.fun tokens migrated to Raydium upon graduation. Many existing tokens still have their primary liquidity on Raydium, making it the default target for volume campaigns on older Solana tokens.

Common questions about Raydium in cryptocurrency and DeFi.
Raydium remains one of the largest Solana DEXs by TVL and volume, but PumpSwap (launched by the Pump.fun team) has captured a significant share of meme coin trading. Jupiter aggregates both, so traders often get routed through Raydium without directly visiting its interface.
Yes. OpenLiquid's volume bot supports Raydium standard AMM and CLMM pools. You can target a specific Raydium pool by providing the pool's market ID, or let the bot auto-select the highest liquidity pool.
